I found Affordable Classics San Diego while doing some research for friend of mine who had a few cars to sell. I set out for people seeking fine old classics, but it took awhile. Most of them were too business oriented, not really interested.. more like: A Quick talk to make a Quick Buck. They made me feel putt off...too salesman-like I guess. I became kind of frustrated, because I knew we wanted these cars to go a good home with people who appreciaasd them as they were coming from a loving owner / private collector. Finally, I came across this place. Wgen I called, a charming English voice answered. Dale put me right at ease and I felt then that I'd found the right spot. She told me it was family run, and she offered to to reach out to "her team" in the field. I was surprised when I was called right back by Kyle (son) and Peter (his father). They took a lot of time and asked a lot of questions to get a clear picture of what I wanted & how they could help. From there we got the ball rolling, and the rest is history.To do business with them is a joy in itself.They are completely by the book and when they give their word it is 100% I know this first hand. They're very polite, professional and hard- working, but best of all is how they love their cars!! You really know the difference between 'just a business' and people who value and love the trade. Kyle was amazing! I drove out with a trailer to pick up the car and he had kind of a tight driveway so he backed the trailer in for me. The car was a 71 Chevelle at a fair price. He told me everything that was wrong with it. He also gave me some advice with Registering the car (which worked) and some tips on what to look for on these cars. After sending him photos and information he pointed me to a website to verify information about my car and once I shared it with Kyle, he made an offer. I needed some time to think about it and he was not pushy. Once I decided, the transaction went smoothly.
