1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL For Sale
The Mercedes-Benz SL Class is a grand tourer sports car manufactured by Mercedes since 1954.The term SL refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning six design generations. The 560SL was the last in the R107 series, which ran from 197289. The car also received a new rear suspension, a limited slip differential to better handle the extra power, anti lock brakes, leather upholstery, an alarm system, and an airbag. At 3781 pounds, the 560SL was also the heaviest of the SL's, but its new 5.6 liter V8 engine with 227 horsepower and 287 foot pounds of torque had little trouble with the extra weight. The 560SL sold well with an average annual sales exceeding 12,000 cars. After a 18 year run, Mercedes came out with the all new R129. Many people gravitate towards the 560SL because it retains some of the lines of the pagodas and has the R107 advancements.

Has 189,431 miles. As far as we know this vehicle has the original paint. Has the factory hardtop and soft top. Hard top is in great condition and when not used has been on a cart with a cover on it. The chrome on the vehicle is in good condition. It has its original Mercedes wheel and comes with the factory spare tire. There is no rust on this vehicle. This vehicle has always been a California car and comes with a clean title and is registered until September 2021. Included is the original owners manual, warranty book, radio book, etc.
The interior on the vehicle is in great shape. Previous owner had the soft top replaced and had some other interior items redone. The electric windows work great. The gauges all work as they should. All the glass on the vehicle is in good condition. Currently has a aftermarket stereo but does come with the factory stereo. Everything on this vehicle works.
