1977 Jaguar XJ6C For Sale

A 9,378 car production run of two-door XJ Coupes with a pillarless hardtop body called the XJ-C was built between 1975 and 1978. The XJ6C was initially launched at the London Motor Show in October 1973. Two years after the London show Jaguar started putting the XJ6C on their showroom floors. The coupe was based on the short-wheelbase version of the XJ series car. The coupes elongated doors were made out of a lengthened standard XJ front door. All the coupes came standard with a vinyl top.
This Jaguar XJ6C was acquired by the previous owner from his grandmother. This car was stored in a garage in Southern California for many years. Has the original 4.2 Jaguar straight six with an automatic transmission. Has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The car is matching numbers. It does run and drive. Previous owner told us that he had some work done to the vehicle to make it roadworthy. This car is currently registered till November 2019. We believe that the car has the original paint.
Interior is all complete. Will require some of the interior components to be reupholstered. Dash is in good shape with no cracks. All of the original wheels are there with the hubcaps. The spare wheel is there and in good shape. The glass is all there and in good condition. The electric windows on the car all go up and down. Tires on the car don't have many miles on them. California car with a clean title. Very solid car.
