1973 MGB GT For Sale
The MGB is a two door sports car that was manufactured from 1962 until 1980. It was first announced on September 19th, 1962. Sales numbers for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined total of 523,836. The MGB GT was first introduced in October 1965. These cars were a hatchback and designed by Pininfarina. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new design made it able to have a rear bench seat and much more luggage space than in the MGB Convertible. In 2019, Road and track named the MGB GT one of the "16 of Pininfarina's Most Beautiful Designs That Aren't Ferraris." Acceleration of the MGB GT was slightly slower than the MGB Convertible but the top speed was increased by five miles per hour because of better aerodynamics.
1973 MGB GT. This GT comes with a 1800cc engine with a four speed manual transmission. As far as we know the drivetrain is all original to the vehicle. This car does run and drive and is currently registered. The air cleaners have been upgraded, but included with the sale is the original air cleaners. Front brakes on the vehicle are disc and the rears are drums. Comes with its original Rostyle wheel and has the original spare. A very nice addition to the vehicle is the original jack and the bag that it stays in. The exterior of the vehicle is old english white and has a black interior.
The interior of this vehicle is all complete and in good condition. The manual windows roll up and down without any issues. All of the glass on the car is in good condition. The dash is in nice shape and does have a dash cap on it. All the original gauges are there and are in working order. Comes with an aftermarket wood grain steering wheel and an aftermarket radio. Electrical wise this vehicle is very good. Lights work, radio works, door lights work, etc. As far as we know and were told is that this vehicle has been garage kept and in southern California all its life.
