1971 Chevy Chevelle For Sale
The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. Body styles include coupes, sedans, convertibles and station wagons.The 1971 Chevelles were treated to new front-end and rear-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. New dual round taillights were integral with the back bumper. The standard Chevelle SS engine was a two-barrel 350-cubic-inch V8 rated at 245 gross (165 net) horsepower. Optional was a four-barrel carbureted version of the 350 V8 rated at 275 gross (200 net with dual exhaust and 175 net with single exhaust) horsepower.
This 1971 Chevy Chevelle has been with the previous owner for about ten years. The car had a restoration done right after the previous owner got the car. Only has 1,141 miles since the restoration. It has a 350 V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The car is mechanically sound. We have done some work to this car; brake booster has been changed, new master cylinder, new rear hydraulic hose, new rear wheel cylinders, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, rotor, coil, oil has been changed, etc. Has an aluminum radiator. Electric fuel pump. 10 bolt chevy rear end. Flowmaster exhaust. Has power steering and power brakes. Disc brakes on the front. Wheels are SS Cragars. Solid car.
The interior on the car is in very good condition and is complete. Has aftermarket bucket seats. Floor shift car with a console. The dash is a chevelle ss dash with the clock, rpm gauge, speedo, etc. Carpet is in great shape. Has chevelle floor mats that do come with the car. All the gauges are working. All four wheels match and a spare tire is included. All the glass is in great condition. As far as we know it has been a California car. Clean California title. Registered till 2020.
