1969 Oldsmobile 442 For Sale
The Oldsmobile 442 is a muscle car that was produced from 1964 to 1987. 442 is known for four barrel carburetor, four speed transmission and dual exhaust. 1968 was a redesign of the vehicles body. In 1968 the 442 sold over 33,000 vehicles. Engine size was a 400 cubic inch and could do 0-60 in seven seconds. The 1969 442 was its own separate series for its second consecutive year. Oldsmobile made a Sports Coupe, Hollywood Hardtop, Convertible and Hurst/Olds Hardtop. The options that came with these vehicles for the 1969 model year included power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, power seats, super stock wheels, power door locks, AM/FM stereo, cruise control, tilt steering, tinted glass, sports console, Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and four speed manual transmission.
1969 Oldsmobile 442. This 442 has a 400 cubic inch engine with a turbo hydramatic automatic transmission. The casting number on the engine is correct for this year of vehicle. As far as we know and was told the engine original to the vehicle. The transmission is a three speed with overdrive. The vehicle does run and drive. Comes with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The front brakes are disc and the rears are drums. Has a white exterior, black vinyl top and a black interior. All four wheels, hubcaps and center caps are original to the vehicle. Factory spare is also there. We have replaced the rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and also replaced the valve cover gaskets. Comes with a K & N air cleaner and has headers. Has Bilstein shocks on all four corners.
The interior of the vehicle is in good shape. Has manual windows and they all roll up and down without any issues. Has the factory bench seat. Comes with aftermarket under dash gauges and has an aftermarket steering wheel. All the glass on the vehicle is in good shape other than the windshield which has a chip in it. All the chrome for the vehicle is there. Has all the original seat belts. This vehicle does have some rust spots. The undercarriage is solid with no rust. Has both black and yellow plates. Clean California title and is currently registered.
