1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo For Sale
The Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk was a grand touring coupe that was produced from 1962 to 1964. These were the top of the line from Studebaker and it was the final development of the Hawk series. The GT Hawk's styling had a major facelift when compared to its predecessors. The grill was patterned after the Mercedes Benz, roofline was inspired by the Ford Thunderbird, taillights and front to back trim were similar design to the Lincolns of that era. In 1962, a Hawk buyer could either choose a two barrel or four barrel carburetor. The engines in these vehicles are a 289 cubic inch, which produced 210 or 225 horsepower. Transmission options were either a three speed manual, overdrive four speed or a Flight-O-Matic automatic transmission.
