1962 Triumph TR4 For Sale
The Triumph TR4 is a sports car produced from Triumph from 1961-1965. These cars were based off of the chassis and drivetrain of the previous TR sports cars, but with the modern body by Michelotti. The TR4 body style did away with the cutaway door design to allow for wind up/down door glass rather than have side curtains. The same style engine on the previous TR's was used in the TR4's but the displacement was increased from 1991cc to 2138 cc. These engine made 100 hp and 127 lb ft of torque.
This 1962 Triumph TR4 has been owned by the previous owner for many years. Been off the road since the early 1990's. The car has the original engine and transmission. Engine turns freely by hand. The vehicle isn't currently running. Has the great looking wire wheels. Chrome work is all there.
The gauges are all there, seats are there and so is the soft top frame. The glass is all there. Door glass is in great shape. Windshield does have a chip in it. Not much rust on the car. California car with a clean title. Some extra parts are included in the last photo. These cars are getting harder to find.
