1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider For Sale

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a family of automobiles made by Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965 which included a 2+2 coupe, four-door, estate, spider, sprint, and sprint speciale. The first Giulietta to be introduced was the Giulietta Sprint 2+2 coupe at the 1954 Turin Auto Show. The Giulietta series was succeeded by the Giulia in 1962. In mid 1955, the open two-seat Giulietta Spider, featuring convertible bodywork by Pininfarina. In Autumn 1961 the Giulietta was updated a second time. Both Normale and T.I. had revised engines and new exhaust systems; output rose to 61 bhp and 73 bhp. With this new engine the car could reach a speed of almost 160 km/h (99 mph). At the front of the car square mesh side grilles were now pieced together with the centre shield, and at the rear there were larger tail lights.
1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Convertible. The car has the correct 1300 cc 4 cylinder engine with a manual gearbox. The vehicle hasn't been on the road in many years. The engine are the car does turn freely by hand. It is not currently running. Has all four original Alfa wheels. The major components to the engine are there. Many other parts are included in the sale and are shown in the photos. The front and rear bumpers are there, fuel tank and filler, driveshaft, some exterior trim, etc.
The interior on the car will have to be restored. The gauges are all there. Soft top frame is there. Vehicle does roll and steer. The windshield and driver side door glass is there and in good condition. The exterior body panels of the car are very solid. The previous owner was planning on replacing the floor panels below the seats and the trunk pan. It is a California car with a clean title in hand. These cars are getting harder to find and are worth a good amount when restored.
