1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Convertible For Sale
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a family of automobiles made by Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965 which included a 2+2 coupe, four-door, estate, spider, sprint, and sprint speciale. The first Giulietta to be introduced was the Giulietta Sprint 2+2 coupe at the 1954 Turin Auto Show. In 1959 the Alfa Romeo 750 was replaced by the Giulietta Spider. The front end and interior had some changes. In 1960 the Giulietta gained vent windows and wind up windows. The Giulietta series was succeeded by the Giulia in 1962. In mid 1955, the open two-seat Giulietta Spider, featuring convertible bodywork by Pininfarina. In Autumn 1961 the Giulietta was updated a second time. Both Normale and T.I. had revised engines and new exhaust systems; output rose to 61 bhp and 73 bhp.
1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Convertible. This car has a period correct 1300cc engine with a manual four speed gearbox. This vehicle has been off for road for many years. We did get the engine to start off of pouring some gas into the carburetor. Has all four original Alfa Romeo wheels. This year Giulietta is the last year of the small rear taillights. Some other parts are included in the sale.
The interior on the car will have to be restored. All the gauges are there and the soft top frame is there. This vehicle does roll and steer. All the glass for this car is there. The door glass and vent glass is in good shape. The windshield is cracked. Has the original steering wheel. Dash is all original other than one gauge in the center. It does have rust. The vehicle does come with a clean California title. These cars are getting harder to find and are worth a good amount when restored.
