1952 MG TD Convertible For Sale
In 1950 MG came out with its new model called the TD. These cars were produced from 1950- 1953. They had the same engine as the TC, a modified hypoid rear axle, Y type chassis, T type body and independent front suspension. The ride quality of these cars was greatly improved compared to its predecessor. Wheel sizes were changed to a 15" rim and now they had introduced the option of left hand drive and standard equipment bumpers with overriders.
This 1952 MG TD Convertible has been sitting up in the high desert for many years. This car has been with the previous owner for many years. The vehicle has a period correct XPAG engine with a four speed manual gearbox. The engine does turn freely by hand. Is not currently running. Has dual SU Carburetors and an after market aluminum side cover. The original is included. Many parts are included in the sale. Air cleaner assembly, two side curtains, fuel pumps, etc.
The interior on the car will obviously have to be redone. All the gauges are there. Vehicle rolls and steers. The windshield is cracked as seen in the pictures. Has the tonneau cover. California car with a clean title in hand. The car has no rust and the frame is solid. Great car that would be a fun restoration project. Cheapest TD on the market.
